Christmas Paintings and other Decorations

I’m posting this a day later than usual, but it’s (mostly) for good reason. I’m excited to say that my “Paint it Yourself” watercolor kits are gaining popularity (I think they are a great gift idea, though I may be biased) and I’ve had several new orders to fill on Etsy these last few days especially. It’s an exciting milestone in this little business of mine!

Related to that, I finished painting the example pieces for the Christmas “PiY” kit I’ve been working on, just in time to photograph them then hang them on my own wall for the Christmas season. We put up our Christmas tree last weekend (we’re in the “wait until after Thanksgiving” camp in terms of when we put up the tree), and I hung up many of our other decorations in the last few days. Christmas is my favorite holiday (and not just for the presents!) so I go a little more out with the decorating (as opposed to “all out,” which I do not do, because I am too lazy).

The other exciting news I have to share is that we start shipping out the first batch of kits for the “Writing with the Moon” webinar early next week, which means they’ll arrive in time for Christmas! Also, to celebrate, the class is now on special for $99 (instead of $119). So if you were thinking about signing up, now’s the time! 🙂

I promise a longer update next week, but until then, hoping you’re all finding time to rest and be creative in this busy season!
